McCarthy Kennels

The ever growing and constantly changing site of the beagle, along with tips on dogs, hunting, guns, and a huge photo album of some of our hunts.  Please check back a lot since the site is always being updated.  I am not a professional dog trainer, I am just a beagle hunter and have learned by reading, and trial and error, on how to train my dogs.  What I offer for advice is what has worked for me.  I will state things in my pages - what has worked and has not worked for me.  I have a new truck now, there's a shot of my old one somewhere on the site.  I am going to build a dog box for the back of the new truck, for now I keep them leashed in harnesses to the bed of the truck.  Once I finish the build I will share the plans for it for a Ford F150.  New on the site I have some video uploads of the dogs doing what they do best.
